KSP 1.10 Loaded Trailer Dropping Policy

PURPOSE: To avoid the fatality or injury of any Reliable Tank Line driver or others and avoid equipment damage, property loss and potential devastating environmental impact related to the improper unhooking and dropping of a loaded tanker trailer. The procedure is as follows:

PROCEDURE:

  1. All drivers employed by Reliable Tank Line, LLC, being a transporter of hazardous Class 3 flammable materials and Division 2.1 flammable gases, shall ONLY drop a loaded tanker trailer on the direction of their terminal manager, fleet maintenance manager, or safety department representative(s).
  2. In NO case shall a loaded tanker trailer be dropped without direct supervision and help of a terminal manager, fleet maintenance manager, or safety department representative(s).
  3. Not following this procedure carries the following penalties, in addition to being sent home the rest of the work shift:

PENALTY:
1st Violation: Termination of employment.
