Terminal Manager Certification Checklist
This TM certification checklist is to show that all parties involved agree that the trainee demonstrates satisfactory proficiency in ALL the below-mentioned areas, as each pertains to the position of Petroleum Transport Driver for Reliable Tank Line, LLC.
- Print-out loads
- Verify location/product/gallons/state
- Follow Pre-trip and Post-trip procedures (2.1, A-8)
- Check driver book to confirm loading numbers, if needed
- Get water-paste, product seals, spill pads before leaving office, if needed
TERMINAL WALK-AROUND
- Check tires for inflation before loading by bumping with hammer or weighted object (2.4.1)
- Verify lane you need has the product to be loaded
- Set product markers for the products to be loaded and verify amounts for each compartment
LOADING
- Pull into lane and follow all terminal requirements for card-in and set-up
- Raise brake bar, hook up Scully and vapor hose, open box and belly valves, hook-up loading arms and verify compartment markers are correct (2.4.1)
- Load product by company policy using product seals as needed (2.4.1, KSPs 1.03, 1.05, 1.07)
LOAD CONFIRMATION
- After loading and before leaving terminal, confirm correct state, supplier, product on BOL (2.4.1)
- Enter BOL#(s) into Trimble Instinct Shipments screen PRIOR to departure (2.4.1, Loading Procedure Step 31)
DELIVERY SITE
- Position unit correctly at the delivery site and confirm products at the site match the order on the trip ticket (2.4.1)
- Upload product gross/net and BOL#(s) into Tanker Workflow Pickup screen on PeopleNet (2.4.1)
- Verify location, UST Permit (if applicable), tank sizes and Veeder Root reading (if accessible)
- Verify products will fit according to 90% safe-fill limit on each storage tank and check for water using Sar-Gel paste (2.4.1)
- Raise loading bar and set out cones to create a safe working zone (2.4.1)
- Deliver product while adhering to company policy (2.4.1 and KSPs 1.01, 1.03, 1.04, 1.05, 1.08)
- Do walk-around before leaving the site, check lights and bump tires to check for flats or low air pressure and verify products have been completely delivered. (2.4.1 Drop Delivery, Step 9)
